Alleged food tampering at a Pizza Hut

If Joanna, or anyone else, were wondering what happens when fast food employees do "unspeakable things" to customers' food (as mentioned in her McRules), just consider what happened yesterday at a Pizza Hut in Richboro, PA:

Six employees were fired after a health department investigation at the request of a customer who suspected her pizzas had been tampered with. Police and prosecutors are now conducting a criminal investigation.

from KYW in PA:
Jonathan Blum, a Pizza Hut spokesman, said Wednesday that six employees were fired as part of the investigation and the restaurant was scheduled to reopen Friday.

The company, the Bucks County District Attorney’s Office or Bucks County Health Department officials would not comment on the nature of the alleged tampering.

First Assistant District Attorney David Zellis said the Health Department inspected the restaurant on July 27 when a customer complained about someone tampering with a pizza. He said as many as three pizzas may have been tampered with.

Kudos to Pizza Hut for reacting swiftly and sending the message that restaurant employees tampering with food will not be tolerated. Hopefully the prosecutor's office will be similarly expedient with criminal charges if the police investigation warrants it.

I live in the area as well. What would make people do such a foul thing. Those responsible have no respect for others, no conscience, maybe even they are the serial killers of tomorrow. I would just like like to know who those people were, just so I know. Just so I can keep my children away from from these foul creatures. They do it for sex offenders, why not these people who so willingly violate the public trust.

Wow, you are stone cold pussies. This is just a drop in the bucket. It ain't terrorism, folks, it's people tired of asshole customers.
And you two sound like assholes.

This isn't one episode, it's an epidemic. If you two total gaybags had to work in a place like this for a month, you'd sing a different tune.

Abused people strike back--it's human nature.

ooooh "keep my children away from such people," oooooh--dumbass, your children probably ARE "such people".

"Foul people" indeed. You should be asking why these people were driven to what they did. Fast food workers don't just spontaneously do these things, it comes from constant abuse from the fat assed public who give them such guff.

Eat at home, you useless tubs of guts.

Here's a concept for the last poster.....If you are tired of dealing with the fat ***ed public, try this..........stop smoking weed, go to school, get an education, and get a better job.

Contaminating food is a health risk and a direct violation of public trust that should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Personally, if I ever find my food contaminated, my fist will meet someone's face.
